Japan is implementing the Joint Crediting Mechanism (JCM) in order to contribute to global GHG emission reduction. The Historic "Paris Agreement" entered into force and the use of market mechanisms including the JCM was articulated under Article 6 of the Agreement.

This website will introduce JCM and carbon markets in the world, based on the information released by the government of Japan.
